ABOUT MICHAELA BRISTOL-FAULHAMMER

WHO I AM

My name is Dr. Michaela Bristol-Faulhammer, founder and owner of Partners4, a successful firm for personal and organizational consulting both within Austria and internationally in scope, since 2005. Together with my network partners we are Partners4 Coaching, Consulting, and Applied Research.

I graduated from Saybrook University, in San Francisco, CA with a PhD in leadership and management. I am certified in coaching and business mediation at ESPA, change management at ISB, group facilitation at Stanford University, digital training for teaching faculty at Danube University Krems and game-based learning at Actee. I have over 20 years of consulting experience in leadership development. Being an Austrian native, I’ve worked for a diverse national and international client base in CEE, the Pacific Islands, and in the United States. As a consultant, coach, and researcher, I empower clients to create a positive path towards their goals. As a career coach, I work with women and men to resolve difficult work challenges and feel more confident to take on larger leadership roles.
As a consultant, I provide learning and development professionals and departments with innovative and experiential learning opportunities that enables individuals to solve problems with emotional intelligence. As a researcher, I provide decision-makers with information that assists them in making decisions based on data and intentionally implementing change processes. My international assignments in the South Pacific (Papua New Guinea, Australia), Nepal, the United States, and CEE taught me how to become successful in intercultural work settings.

WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT

and what’s in for you?

I strongly believe that the best way to learn something new is simply by doing it. I use digital game-based learning and experiential learning technology that facilitate competence building. Such innovative approaches benefit both learners and organizations because it creates a dynamic that inspires learners to develop new skills and build an emotional connection to learning and new content. In doing so, learners can easily transfer new knowledge and behavior into their day-to-day work.

I strongly believe that change only happens if people find meaning in it. For this reason, I use values measurement tools to identify motivational values that drive transformation. Clients benefit from values knowledge because people naturally follow their own meaningful values that allow for individual change. Organizations benefit because it makes values transparent and builds leverage for organizational change.

I strongly believe that decisions are good decisions when they are grounded in data-supported evidence. So, to answer complex organizational questions, I use a qualitative research approach. Decision-makers benefit because they are able to translate research findings into actionable insights for business productivity and growth.
